Yes! We have African American Wigs that are designed to mimic natural hairlines and parting for a realistic look. Check out wigs that have a monofilament top and lace front. The monofilament top allows you to part and style the hair in any direction and gives the illusion of hair growing from the scalp. The lace front gives you a natural hairline.

  • What's amazing about wigs is that they can be worn by anyone. Whether you're looking for a solution for hair loss or want to change up your style, wigs offer a great hair alternative!
  • If you still have your natural hair, you will need to put up your hair. We recommending braiding your hair into at least two sections, pin it up with bobby pins, and tuck it up under a wig cap before putting on your wig. Doing this will help keep your wig securely in place and look more like your natural hair.

There are many differences between human hair and synthetic hair wigs. But the main difference is the fiber. Human hair wigs are made out of bio hair, so they feel and look real. Synthetic wigs are made of high quality synthetic fibers that are vibrantly colored and made to feel like real hair.

Other differences include:

  • Lifespan. Human hair wigs last longer than synthetic wigs. A synthetic wig's lifespan is generally 3-6 months while a human hair wig's life span is 6-12 months.
  • Heat friendly. You can style human hair wigs with heat tools because it's made with real hair. You cannot use heat tools on synthetic wigs. Some wigs are made with heat friendly synthetic fibers. (Always check to make sure your wig is heat friendly before using heat tools to style it.)
  • Density. Synthetic wigs feel lightweight because the hair is less dense than human hair wigs. Perfect for hotter climates or summer weather.
  • Maintenance. Human hair may require a little more time with styling since they are made with bio hair. Synthetic wigs generally retain their style after you wash and dry it.
  • Cost. Human hair wigs do cost more than synthetic hair wigs because they are made with real hair.
  • Be sure to detangle the wig hair often with a wide tooth comb. Also, be sure to use a detangling spray for synthetic fibers.
  • Use styling and care products specially made for wigs and formulated for each fiber, especially shampoos and conditioners.
  • When you're not wearing your wig, place it on a wig stand. You can also store it safely in its wig box for long term storage.
  • Wash your wig every 6-8 wears. When you wash your wig, remember not to soak it or put conditioner on the roots. You'll untangle the knots holding the hair in place.
