The new Twilight movie Eclipse premiers this week (sound of cheering girls) and we got some juicy details!...
The vampiress Victoria, who was originally played by actress Rachelle Lefevre...
... will now be played by actress Bryce Dallas Howard:

You may know Bryce as director Ron Howard's daughter, but she was also in movies such as M. Night Shaymalan's The Village and Lady in the Water. The Victoria character has long reddish waves in her hair, but actually looks similar to Bryce in the face. However, Bryce stated that - before she knew she got the part - she had dyed her shorter hair dark. To play the perfect Victoria, she would need to wear a wig!

For the role of Victoria, Bryce wore a gorgeous and long, red curly wig. Because Bryce's hair is naturally wavy, thick, and an orange-red color, the wig was totally believable on her.

If you like the 'Victoria' style, try one of these wigs from Wigs.com:

At the 2010 BET Awards this weekend, dozens and dozens of great presenters and performers graced the red carpet and stage. Queen Latifah hosted the show with frequent wardrobe changes inspired by a few of her well known looks: the prison warden character 'Mama' from Chicago, her jersey-wearing character from recent hit Just Wright, as well as cornrows and oversized clothing from her rapper days. She even wore a leopard print and feathered mumu with a wavy blonde wig - a costume that resembled her 'Motormouth Maybelle' character from the 2007 movie Hairspray.

In addition to winning the award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, Nicki Minaj also performed. She wore a crazy frizzed-out platinum wig, and then later shined in a vibrant orange style.

Perhaps many an attendee were wearing wigs, but these wigs sure made a statement! For more pictures and stories from the 2010 BET Awards, click here.

At Wigs.com, we obviously love wigs. But we think that Bald is Beautiful too! Countless celebrities have shaved their head for movie roles...

Sigourney Weaver in Alien 3 (1992)

    Demi Moore in G.I.Jane (1997)

    Kate Blanchett in Heaven (2002)

Natalie Portman in V for Vendetta (2005)

Cameron Diaz wore a bald cap for My Sister's Keeper (2009)

Hot model Amber Rose (Kanye West's main squeeze) keeps her hair buzzed and closely-cropped all the time! She even dyes it blonde. Very edgy and chic.

With all the singers and stars going partially shaved lately - such as Rihanna, Adam Lambert, and Cassie, to name a few - we wonder if it may be the next big trend!

Just like clothing, hairstyles can be slimming too!
Of course the style or cut of your wig won't actually slim your face - it's all an illusion, right? But to give your face a more slender appearance, follow these simple rules:

    1. Avoid straight lines in your cut. Choose a wig with more shapely curves that compliment and soften the face shape, instead of working against it. This will also draw attention to facial features such as your eyes and lips in a good way.

    2. Avoid straight-across bangs. Though blunt cut bangs may still be in style, they tend to shorten and widen the appearance of the face. Show off your forehead (where we don't gain weight). Try side-swept bangs instead as they will make your face appear longer and thinner.

    3. Avoid blunt haircuts. Blunt hairstyles like the geometric bob cut that Katie Holmes and Rihanna have worn will harshen your features and widen your face. Instead, opt for a longer, textured and layered cut. Go for softness and movement.
