There’s no greater feeling than when we know we're having an amazing hair day!

Wigs make every day a great hair day. But just how much should you spend for great hair?

    1. Not all wigs are created equal.

Premium features like lace-front and human hair can make all the difference in how natural your hair looks and feels. But just because one feature is more expensive than another doesn’t make it the right choice for you.

    2. Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.

Did you know that a good quality cap can take up to 30 hours to make! The meticulous craftsmanship that goes into each hand-made design ensures wearing your favorite, cute style feels like wearing nothing at all. Learn more about Cap Construction here.

    3. Not having to spend hours in the salon chair…Priceless.

Think about the time suck of your last salon visit. Remember the anxiety of hoping they get the cut right? The awkwardness of convincing yourself that “It’s just a haircut” when they didn’t?

Higher-end wigs are all about giving you the perfect salon look without a trip to the salon. You get just the style you want. And because the denier and texture of quality synthetic hair looks and feels so much like human hair, human hair wigs are not your only option. Checkout out our previous post about synthetic and human hair to find out which is really the best choice for you.

Having a great hair day is like a perfectly timed, witty comeback. You feel like you can take on the world. Give yourself permission to feel as great as you know you are. You’re totally worth it!

Spring is finally here and what better time to consider a COLOR change? This year’s go-to hair color emphasizes the natural with cooler hues of blonde, brunette, and red to fit your complexion and undertones. We’ve put together the best hair color ideas as well as useful examples to help you take advantage of this season’s most beautiful trend for wig lovers.

This spring’s golden locks are featured with darker roots and darker shades for a more natural appearance. Bronde is a fusion of blonde and brunette. It’s a way for blondes to get into the cool color trend without going too dark. For this look, find a dark blonde or light brown shade that works for you with just the right amount of golden highlights for a natural-looking honeyed color.

Angelica by Noriko | Color: Macadamia LR

Disc by Ellen Wille | Color Dark-Sand-Rooted

Brunette hair is wonderfully versatile and its popularity lies in the fact that it complements every skin tone. This season’s trend features woodsey hues ranging from caramel to chocolate with just the right amount of subtle blonde highlights to create movement. This spring consider the right mix of warm and cool browns to give your hair a velvety appearance.

    Blake by Jon Renau|Color: 6F27

Risk by Ellen Wille | Color: Hot Chocolate Mix

This spring brings with it a powerful color trend for ginger fans that’s gaining traction. Ronze is a mixture of copper-red and bronze which delivers a tone that is coppery and autumnal for a natural effect. It’s a perfect color for fair complexions with contrast that warms the skin, yet it has the versatility to complement all complexions with shades that range from light to dark.

No matter what color you choose this season, the trick is making it look like yours by keeping hues looking like what you were born with.

The key to pulling off any great look is confidence. And whether you have a round, square, long, oval or heart-shaped face, there’s a beautiful hairstyle that’s perfect to help you set the mood this Valentine’s Day. Our Wig Experts selected 5 picks based on customer feedback from our top rated brands with style tips you can mix and match to create a romantic look you’ll feel confident about.

Long hair tends to lengthen a round face shape. A few inches below the chin or longer with straight hair makes the sides of the face seem smaller. Gentle waves that begin below the lips can also reduce roundness. To achieve this look, we recommend Amber by Jon Renau.

Consider adding little braids on the sides and pinning them back, or simply twisting the hair on the sides and pinning them back for that romantic flair.

Long bobs elongate a square face. The angles on this face shape can be softened with waves, curls and side-swept bangs that graze the brows. You may also consider a middle part to achieve the same effect. Try this look with Jolie by Noriko.

You can have your stylist trim it shorter in the back, being mindful to keep the hair longer in the front and keeping the pieces soft and layered.

The goal for a long face is to create the illusion of width. Shoulder length hair (anywhere between chin and shoulders) with waves will give you a romantic look. We recommend Upstage by Raquel Welch to achieve this look.

Consider asking your stylist for an a-line long bob, avoiding anything that adds layers to the top of your head. You can try bangs, any style from blunt, to long, or side swept will make the face appear shorter by covering the forehead. A side part is an idea that will make your face appear wider, minimizing the length. If you prefer longer hair, try it with waves or curls.

For oval faces, any chin to shoulder length hair that is long in the back and shorter in the front, with layers near the cheekbones, lips, chin or any area you want to highlight is ideal. You can add beachy waves for a touch of romance. To achieve this look, we recommend Shannon by Rene of Paris.

Pixie hairstyles are feminine and look particularly good on a heart-shaped face because they tend to emphasize the cheekbones and eyes. To achieve this look we recommend Risk by Ellen Wille.

Sideswept bangs are another favorite which draw attention down and towards the eyes on a heart-shaped face. You may also want to try a graduated bob with a bit of a wave, or a chin-length bob that’s heavier at the bottom. If you want curly hair be sure to have them tapered at the ends. If you prefer long hair, try it with bangs, or soft curls to soften a pointy chin. Remember to keep top layers soft and long with this face shape.

We’d love to hear from you. Please share your photos and comments with us on Instagram and Facebook!

Let’s check out Brooke – a fresh and trendy bob wig by Noriko.
Brooke is a perfect look for spring and offers endless charm with an updated bob cut. Brooke’s fashion-forward style is designed with tons of fun layers and longer pieces at the front and neckline. With this bob wig, you get full and modern side bangs which can be swept to the side, pulled forward and over the eye for a sultry look, or pushed back behind the ear with your fingers. You can also take the wig to your stylist and have them trim the bangs for a more brow-skimming, blunt bang, or simply thin the bangs for a more feathered look (as shown in image at left).
Brooke features a full monofilament cap construction which allows for natural movement and the appearance of a natural part – whichever direction you decide to part the bangs. The longer face-framing pieces beautifully emphasize the jaw line. Brooke’s flirty layers are razored from crown to nape; these layers are well-defined and can be finger-styled. Brooke is designed with longer pieces that hug the neck for a multi-level cut that is salon-inspired with great texture. The combination of smooth bangs and top, heavily textured back, bangs, and face-framing pieces on the sides makes for a gorgeous and captivating cut which will flatter virtually any face shape.
