This spring’s key trend reflects what’s natural about the individual, which means natural hair textures are a big thing. One effect of this trend is the emphasis on styles that are artful, yet easy to manage. Get ready for a season of simple hairstyles in textures of every kind.
Why not go bold? Short hair is having a major moment right now with bobs in different styles holding their own in the spotlight. This look has been modernized with wavy textures that are tousled to embrace the natural trend.
Soft Focus by Raquel Welch offers a human hair interpretation of the long bob, which means you get the most natural and longest lasting styling versatility with a soft side-swept bang.
Or Maybe you want a more intentional look. For a naturally-straight-hair take on this trend, go more sleek and polished with Ignite shown here in color 1BRH30. Our example features angled layers with bold, golden-red highlights that offer a fresh take on brunette beauty.
Who doesn’t want long hair? An updated example of this celebrated favorite adds texture and face framing layers which creates movement all around while adding volume at the crown. It’s a beautiful hairstyle with a slept-in vibe that looks absolutely chic.
Cascade by Ellen Wille is made of 100% Remy human hair. This means that all the hair fibers go in the same direction to deliver a gorgeous long cut with soft layers that fall below the shoulder. The 100% hand-tied cap, lace front and monofilament top create natural movement as well as provide super comfort.

is all about long layers and softly feathered ends that deliver a natural looking style that’s flirty and feminine. The golden brown and warm platinum blonde highlights give the wig a honeyed effect which is part of the warm color trend we mentioned in our last post.
Modern and fresh, mid-length styles are being embraced in a major way this season! It’s the signature look for those who want a flattering style without being weighed down by hair. Remember to channel bed-head styles to take advantage of this trend.
Scarlett by Jon Renau is a perfect example of the 'midi' style. It’s a light and breezy synthetic wig that features perfect beachy waves that can be styled with your fingers to achieve the best results.
Carrie Exclusive by Jon Renau offers a sleek and polished version of this style that looks up-street with its sleek finish, gentle curves and a side-swept, full fringe. This particular wig takes advantage of Renau's Exclusive color technique to deliver a gloriously natural hue in color 613/102S8.

Spring is finally here and what better time to consider a COLOR change? This year’s go-to hair color emphasizes the natural with cooler hues of blonde, brunette, and red to fit your complexion and undertones. We’ve put together the best hair color ideas as well as useful examples to help you take advantage of this season’s most beautiful trend for wig lovers.
This spring’s golden locks are featured with darker roots and darker shades for a more natural appearance. Bronde is a fusion of blonde and brunette. It’s a way for blondes to get into the cool color trend without going too dark. For this look, find a dark blonde or light brown shade that works for you with just the right amount of golden highlights for a natural-looking honeyed color.

Spring is all about transformation, and what better time to trade in your old ‘do for a new look? We’ve rounded up the coolest styles from Ellen Wille and Gabor that highlight this season’s key trends to inspire a fresh new you.
There’s something for everyone this spring as The Prime Power Collection by Ellen Wille and the Gabor Spring Collection offer styles ranging from short & chic to luxuriously long. Both collections emphasize elegant yet manageable styles for everyday wear, and we’re sure you’re going to find your new spring style.
We love Prime Power and the Gabor Spring Collection for the unique qualities they offer. But there were two styles from each collection we felt really stood out.
Illusion by Ellen Wille | Color: Auburn Rooted
We applaud Illusion for being the exception to the short cut style offerings in the Prime Power Collection. We really love the tousled look featured here in auburn rooted which perfectly highlights the soft and casual waves. The center part perfectly sets off the free spirit of the long strands. It’s a second-day, slept-in style which hits on another trend that’s popular this season, the natural look.
Spirit by Ellen Wille | Color: Champagne Rooted
Spirit in this champagne rooted example perfectly illustrates the reason why blonde hair is always in fashion. The ‘midi haircut’ is one of the most sought after hair lengths this season. This is a more polished version of this style with its sleek and straight strands which is perfect for a special occasion, like a night out on the town.
Radient by Gabor | Color: GL14/22SS
Waves are a splendid thing and a great way to brighten up your style. Radiant from Gabor's Spring Collection offers a great example of adapting one of this season’s top style choices with medium length hair in what Gabor calls a “scrunched” curl texture. The long layers of free-formed curls are perfectly beachy and we love how easy it is to flip and style!
Soft and Subtle by Gabor | Color: GL14/16
We love blunt bobs because of how well suited their angular parts are for many face shapes. It’s an enduring style which continues trending this season because of its versatility as a style that can be worn perfectly straight or with a bit of texture. Soft and Subtle is a perfect example of a bob that is bluntly cut and can be worn wavy without taking away from the precision of the cut. The tumbled waves and disconnected ends give this style the perfect, playful personality for spring!
Tell us which styles you like. What are some of your favorite trends? Don’t forget to comment below and share your spring style with photos!

Wavy hair goes with warm weather like surfboards and picnic baskets. Low maintenance yet stylish, this summertime go-to is popular and looks great in any season. But how do you get that effortlessly tousled look? It’s fast and easier than you think. Check out our tutorial and easy step-by-step guide for getting the Perfect Loose Wave with Spirit by Ellen Wille!
We’ll be demonstrating on Spirit, which is part of the new Prime Power collection by Ellen Wille. Due to it’s unique blend of human hair enhanced with premium synthetic fiber, Prime hair can be heat styled up to 350 degrees. You’ll also need a 1 inch curling iron. We used the 1” Professional Ceramic Spring Iron by Gold N Hot. (Want to watch as we style? Check out our video on How To Style Prime Hair.)
Step 1: Set your curling iron to a maximum temperature of 350 degrees. Any higher will melt the fibers.
Step 2: The secret to perfecting this style is leaving the ends straight. Start by taking a 1 inch width piece of hair from the part and wrap it around the barrel of the curling iron leaving about 2 inches uncurled. *Note-We are using a standard barrel curling iron. You can achieve the same look by using a curling wand which won’t clip the hair.)
Step 3: Twist the curling iron away from your face to create an outward curl.
Step 4: Hold for about 5-10 seconds.
Step 5: Pull the barrel lower on the curl and hold for another 2-3 seconds.
Step 6: Gently pull the curl as you remove the curling iron from the hair.
Step 7: Repeat this process working your way around your head until you arrive at the other side of the part.
Step 8: Run your fingers through your hair a few times to soften the curls.
Step 9: Now you have the perfect loose wave!

Gabor is about everyday beauty that comes from elegant, short styles. So what does that mean for this legendary line’s new collection?
The Spring 2016 Collection comes in 5 new styles: Radiant Beauty, Soft and Subtle, Lasting Impression, and High Impact which are constructed with natural front hairlines and special monofilament features from the Gabor Luxury Collection. Sublime features FlexLite® modacrylic synthetic fiber, and the Gabor® Personal Fit™ Cap which uses thin yet resilient stretch material that molds to the shape of your head and is part of the Gabor Next Collection.
- Sublime is styled with a slight wave and added texturizing for fresh, breezy movement that gives you endless styling options.
- Radiant Beauty is designed to let your personality shine with a “scrunched” texture and long layers of free-formed curls to give you a look that’s always in trend.
- Soft and Subtle is a flattering cut for many face shapes and features tumbled waves in a blunt bob so that you get a stylized look that’s also casual.
- Lasting Impression offers you a modern cut that's natural looking and believable with its smooth wave on top and uneven layers cut around the ends.
- High Impact is a look with stunning effect that’s achieved by layered waves which give you natural body for a flattering shape and a face-framing eyelash bang that comes in at just the right moment for the finishing touch.
Our favorite is Soft and Subtle. This bob is so much fun with its layered waves that give just the right amount of length. It’s truly a style that looks good on anyone and feels very light. We love the fact that the medium length makes it a simple style that’s manageable and can be worn every day. Yet it’s very chic. We feel it strikes that perfect balance between being too tame and too messy which is very in trend right now.
