After dealing with alopecia and psoriasis of the scalp for 40 years.....I'm back to full hairpieces. This piece was my 4th try at finding the right style in the right color for my complexion.
Tried 3 RW wigs, but finally figured out that the Welch line colors are too "ashy" for me.
Switched to the Gabor line........and they had one color GL14-22 which is a soft golden blonde with pale blond highlights. There are also some deeper blond strands in this piece which add dimension to this beautiful soft color tone. This style is named "Epic", but as you can see.....the way I have it styled looks almost nothing like the photos online. I trimmed the back neckline and pushed the sides behind my ears. Natural looking amount of hair......and not too "poofy". I think it's pretty cute and fitting for someone my age. I bought this for the second time, I was so happy with the first purchase. This one was purchased on clearance so I was worried that it might be defective somehow. I checked it and it is OK although it was obviously tried on by someone else first as it was not in newly packed condition and the box was slightly smashed. I feel confident that I can fluff it out and style it as I did it successfully on the first Epic and am pleased with my purchase. I got the same color as before since I have received so many compliments on it. This is a classic wig and I plan to keep purchasing as long as it is available in the Gabor line. The cap is comfortable, the hair is beautiful and looks very realistic once it is sprayed down with dry shampoo to cut the shine. The lace front is undetectable. And the style is timeless and flattering. A winner with minimal effort.
