I love the cute, natural look of the Trend Alert wig—I get lots of compliments. But after buying three, I noticed the ends fray and the fibers get ratty pretty quickly, even though I follow the same care routine as with my other wigs. Great style, just wish it held up better.

I did trim some bangs to make it feel more like me!

I have always been a huge fan of wigs.com. I have purchased three Gabor Trend Alerts over the last year and it is my favorite style. The one I just received did not look the same as the previous wigs. It is heat friendly, so I used my flat iron at a low setting to try to style the wig to the familiar look of Trend Alert. It still didn’t look right and the hair felt nothing like the other Trend Alerts I own. I called wigs.com to see if I could make a return/exchange. I explained to the representative that this wig was not the same quality I was accustomed to. She told me I could not return the wig because I had worn it and applied heat. I understand that is the policy and I explained I have spent $4,367.43 on wigs.com and asked if anything could be done. She said she could extend 30% off my next purchase. You know-30% off like the special wigs.com runs every 2 weeks? I know it’s not the representative’s fault. I could barely hear her. It sounded like 20 other representatives were in the same room. She is just doing her job. I know this is a first world problem, but I am so disappointed in wigs.com. Let me repeat the total spent again… $4,367.43

This manufacturer has changed factories and with changes such as this comes differences in details of the wig and quality. we share your frustration as we are conveying feedback such as yours to the manufacture in an effort to elicit a positive change. although not positive feedback, we do appreciate yours as it truly does help others in making decisions. Please check your wigs before manipulating with heat or water. we are happy to accept returns if they are not styled or altered in any way. i hope this explanation of the situation with this manufacturer helps clarify.

She looks so cute on everyone. I can usually find a way to make a wig work. She was too flat on top but I was really disappointed in the color 1923 SS Biscuit. I thought it would look like the Raquel Welch color with the same color code. But was darker and warmer all over and missing the bright highlights around the face. If the color was better I may have kept her. The Gabor heat friendly colors I have received look darker than the regular synthetic and fibers seem more coarse. Guess I’ll stick with RW.
