I am 69 and I have suffered my entire life with baby fine straight hair with cowlicks and a five finger forehead! I'm tired of it. My daughter talk me into trying a wig again as my last attempt was years ago and I have to admit I didn't know what I was doing.
I chose Tress Allure Trend in 56/60/R8, lightest gray blend with a medium brown root. I have to tell you it's nearly exactly my natural color, except I don't have the roots of course!
I find this wig a comfortable fit for my 22-in circumference, although I have some slippage at the nape which I assume is caused by the back of my head being relatively flat and my bio hair cut to about 1-in at the nape. Because it's so straight and fine, it's slippery. I hope to remedy that with some wig tape or a wig grip. I wore it out for the first time today to my dentist who knows what I look like, yet, I still received four compliments and The hygienist asked me where I get my hair done! Nobody realized it's a wig!
I have only changed the part and combed through with a wide tooth comb. I have not yet used any or product in these photos

As I searched for new wigs I tried to find colors that would be similar to my favorite Raquel Welch RL29/25 Golden Russet. Trend in 14/26/R10 (Red Blonde with Gold Blonde Highlights and Light Brown Roots) seemed like a good choice. It does have some red but appears blonder and has big chunky blond streaks in the front. Gorgeous wig and gorgeous color. I love the lace front and monofilament top, and I was able to part it on the right side easily. The roots are not too dark. I was a bit worried at first because the curls looked like tight coils, but I had watched enough youtube videos to understand that the curls could be loosened quite a bit. I needed to tighten the tabs on the average size cap to fit my petite head circumference, but it fits well and stays put. I initially tried a different color, 17/23/R8 (auburn and beige blond), but it didn't seem reddish to me at all and was very dark. I'll buy this wig again when my current one needs to be replaced.
