"From age 22 to age 54 I have worn a hair pieces. Diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma at 22 I really don't know bio hair. My hair fell out with chemotherapy and never fully grew back. I am now a coCEO of a multi-million dollar company, powered by the confidence my wigs give me. I have worn in my own wedding, worn while pregnant, worn on all the most important days in my life; graduations, birthday parties, my daughter's wedding ..."

...and will hopefully by the grace of God see grandbabies on day, in my wig. It has become a natural part of me and also my for husband (31 years) and kids. It's not a shock to see them all around my bathroom, it's just mom. It's superficial, but beautiful and makes me feel awesome, and that's all that really matters. But truth be known, as soon as I get home, it's off and a ballcap comes on (they are to expensive to waste) I definitely enjoy the ease of just throwing on a wig and going, I wouldn't want to live without them! AMBER, by Jon Reneau is my girl!"

"I went to the ER in February for pelvic pain that wouldn't go away. After a CT scan, an ultrasound and a transvaginal ultrasound, they found a mass on my right ovary. After meeting with a gynecologist and a gynecologist oncologist, exploratory surgery was scheduled in late March. Upon waking up, my husband told me that I had a total hysterectomy along with an appendectomy and lymph nodes removed and that I had cancer..."

In mid April, I was diagnosed with Clear Cell Ovarian Carcinoma Stage 1c3. I was told that I would need 6 cycles of chemotherapy. I started chemotherapy on May 10 and got my wig on May 24. My hair was already starting to fall out a little, but after my 2nd cycle of chemotherapy, all of my hair fell out along with most of my eyelashes and eyebrows. I just had my 4th cycle yesterday but have to get a Neulasta injection because my white blood cell count was too low. I now have only 2 more cycles to go! The 1st picture is when I was fitted for my wig. That hairdresser was so kind and helpful and donated that wig to me because of my cancer diagnosis. The 2nd picture is of me and my niece at her graduation in early June wearing my wig. I felt fabulous in both pictures and so many people came up to me after the graduation saying the same! I'm so glad there are so many high quality wigs that look so natural and can make me look fabulous even when I may not be feeling 100%."

"My hair loss journey started shortly after I gave birth to my daughter. I began noticing handfuls of hair come out in the shower and when I tried to style my hair. My self-esteem plummeted. As my daughter grew older, I cut my hair shorter and shorter in an attempt to hide my hair loss. When my daughter was four years old, she said "Mama, you look like an ugly boy". That is when I knew I had to do something for me. That's when I discovered wigs..."

"I have struggled with hair loss and thinning after having my daughter in 2016. However, in January of 2023, I had brain surgery and the entire back of my head was shaved. These wigs have helped me with my confidence after the surgery and helped my children feel more comfortable around me."

"My journey started during menopause, hormone driven alopecia. The front of my hair was so thin and then finally gone. I first started with coloring my scalp but soon needed a wig. I tried a few then settled on Sky by Noriko for 10+ years. I just this week tried Made You Look,by Rachel. Because of lace front cap. I will wear a wig forever. I love the look. It’s easy and I’m happy to finally found a more natural, light weight beautiful fitting wig."

"When I was in high school, I started loosing my hair. I had had thick long brown hair, each year of high school it thinned more and more. By my first year of College, I had tried every shampoo out there to try to reverse the issue. Nothing seemed to work and I felt devastated. I suffered so greatly I started looking for hair toppers in my 20s and 30s. Now I’m 40 and I’ve been wearing wigs full time and no solution in sight, it’s too late to help me is what every health profession says ..."

But they didn’t know the answer fully, so they really couldn’t say they could have helped me in past years. I have PCOS, poly cystic ovarian syndrome, and I suffer from hair thinning to the point that I probably will be bald soon. I tried Hair Club in the past and they just glued a wig down to my head. I said no more of that nonsense. I found wigs.com and Raquel’s line of wigs, it was a true blessing! They fit so well and no one knows that I’m wearing a wig. I get compliments at work and at the grocery store. I even got a compliment from a hair stylist and when I told her privately it was a wig, she was floored! I’ve been struggling emotionally and mentally for so long with this issue, it takes a toll on the body. The price of the wigs are well worth the purchase, but I could use some extra help in getting a new one this year. As life has happened, I’ve taken in my elderly parents and more expenses have occurred. I would be so grateful to win the free purchase of a wig through this contest!"

"On Feb 1st, 2023 I was told my English Bulldog of 10 years had inoperable cancer. 2 days earlier I received a phone call confirming I had breast cancer. My mom is 97 years old. I had to put my dog to sleep on April 12th. After going through chemo, I was going to drive to WV from TN to see my mom. The day before I was packed up to leave my brother called to let me know my mom had passed away. Here I am bald from chemo, missing my dog and now my mom. I know I’ll get through this. It’s a little easier when you can look and feel good. I know there will be better days ahead. I’m a survivor."
