How to Wash Synthetic Hair Topper
1. Detangle
Detangling the hair with a wide tooth comb before washing will minimize shedding and prevent unnecessary damage to the hair topper
2. Rinse
Use cool water to carefully rinse from root to tips. Do not soak to avoid loosening the hair knots and causing tangles.
3. Shampoo
Lather up the shampoo in your hands, gently massaging the shampoo in the cap, then working the shampoo through the hair. A small amount evenly distributed will do just fine.
4. Rinse
After rinsing the shampoo thoroughly, gently squeeze the water out of the hair, and pat dry with a towel.
5. Comb & Condition
Starting at the ends of the hair and working your way up, gently comb through. Part your hair in the desired location, then set on your wig stand, then spray Leave-In Conditioner starting at the middle length of the hair down the ends, approximately 4 pumps trying to evenly spray the hair, avoiding the roots where the knots are.
6. Dry
Let air dry overnight on your wig stand.
How to Wash Human Hair Toppers
1. Detangle
Detangling the hair with a wide tooth comb before washing will minimize shedding and prevent unnecessary damage to the hair topper
2. Rinse
Use lukewarm or cool water to carefully rinse from root to tips. Avoid soaking or rubbing to avoid loosening the hair knots and causing tangles.
3. Shampoo
Lather up the Hydrating Shampoo in your hands, gently massaging the shampoo in the cap, then working the shampoo through the hair. A small amount evenly distributed will do just fine. Rinse Thoroughly.
4. Condition
After rinsing the shampoo thoroughly, gently squeeze about a quarter size amount of Intensive Recovery Conditioner in your hands, then massage the conditioner into the hair starting about 3 inches from the roots, carefully avoiding the knots.
5. Comb
After rinsing the conditioner thoroughly, gently squeeze the water out of the hair, and pat dry with a towel.
Starting at the ends of the hair and working your way up, gently comb through. Part your hair in the desired location and set on wig stand to dry about 80%.
6. Blow Dry & Heat Style
Pin hair topper to a canvas block head through the clips, carefully avoiding the cap. Spritz about 4 pumps of the 3-In-1 Miracle Protect around the mid to ends of the hair topper. Section your hair topper for best results and blow dry each section individually using a Boar Bristle Brush to smooth hair cuticles. Then heat style to your preference.
