Pros and Cons
This is my first wig purchase, because of hair loss as side effect of chemo, and, for the most part, I have been pleased with this wig.
Since I have learned more about wig through the experience of wearing Cameron, I can tell you the basic things that I like and don't like about it.
The style is ready to wear out of the box, very cute, always looks great, and gave me a huge boost of esteem when I really needed it. I always get compliments when wearing this wig. People who know me just think I got a hair cut and new style.
I do not like the permatease or the thickness that it adds to the wig cap. I have never teased my biological hair, so this is a personal prefererence (I wear a monofilament cap style now). I "smooshed" it down and wore headbands for what I felt was a more natural look on me. It is also very hot in the summer time (100+ where I live) and very uncomfortable along with chemo- induced menopause, hot flashes! (However the thickness can be a great thing in the wintertime -- keeps a bald head warm).
tight and itchy, pretty color
I really love the style - a bob suits me. However, the cap is a lot tighter
than I remember from past Rene of Paris wigs, and the sides are so itchy! I have alopecia so this is a real issue. I'm wearing a Headliner with it.
The hair is okay but I prefer Raquel Welch fibers, as they look more realistic. I bought the Cameron in Coconut Spice, which is really pretty, but I think I need a mono wig or one from another brand.
I purchased this in Chestnut and absolutly love it! I did have the bangs cut in, but outside of that it's perfect. Really like the length - not too long, not too short. Wish is came in mono top and gradient or rooted colors.
You'll love the easy way this wig looks and its quite a sexy look also I have it in cayenne spice and I get many compliments when I wear this one. You can't even tell its a wig and for the PRICE that says it all. You won't be disappointed in this one.
Hope they never discontinue this style! Plenty of lift and a great shape to frame the face and jawline. I have four so far--just to make sure I have them. Always get lots of compliments. I would love to see this wig with a monofilament top!!
I have purchased 6 of this style from Rene of Paris because I don't ever want to be without it. I have it in Toasted Brown and get compliments every time I wear it. People just love this style.
My first wig
The first wig I bought was Cameron in cayenne spice. I love it and have bought another one since in the same color and one in another color. easy to wear and a nice style.
I have the Rene of Paris Cameron in Java frost. The blend of rich brown with subtle highlights of blonde and auburn is beautiful! I had my stylist trim a couple inches off because the front of the bob wanted to curl under my chin. The quality of the wig fibers is really nice and there hasn't been an issue of tangling or frizzing. Most of the time, I actually part it down the middle, instead of wearing it parted to the side like the image shows. This is one of my favorite go-to wigs!
love Rene of Paris
Rene of Paris is a great brand, I love the quality of there wigs!
i just purchased this for a friend with chemo and it has made her feel like her self again.
