I had high hopes for this steamer since I like Jon Renau’s wigs I decided to pay $90 for this steamer, which was a lot. It worked great the first time I used it. A month later I went to steam my JonnRenau wig and the steamer just sputtered and dripped water. I let it cool down, refilled it being careful not to overfill and tried again. This time it sputtered but steamed periodically. This is unacceptable and I do not recommend it.

The steamer makes the hair almost like new. It takes the frizzies out of the wig and makes the hair soft again. I use it to curl the hair again using rollers and the steaming it. The curl doesn’t seem to last but it looks better. The wig I use it on never had curly hair just soft waves. I haven’t been able to achieve the same result but its still better than totally straight
And seems to improve the feel of it.

I have used the steamer on several wigs now. It works amazingly!! I am able to add curls, smooth, fix bangs. I absolutely love it. It fixed wigs that I don’t like and now they are my favorite. Awesome purchase for anyone owning wigs.
