This wig has one of the most comfortable caps I've ever worn. It's my first Belle Tress purchase, and it's clear that the development of a high quality cap was a company focus this last year. Not only is the inner cap silky, so are the strands of hair attached to it. Running one's fingers through the hair might fool the most savy wig-buyer into thinking the hair is human. For me, therein lies the problem. i wear wigs because my bio hair is baby fine, limp, and won't hold a curl. When Austen arrived, I put it on and combed my fingers through the strands, as I usually do. But the denier of the strands is so low that it was a lot like my bio, hair! Almost weightless, and baby fine, the hair on both sides of the part falls forward into my eyes, and don't seem like they'll respond to 'training.' Barrettes will have to be used. Also, after a few run-throughs with a wide-tooth comb the waves started releasing. to almost straight. I know the wig is heat-friendly so i'll give that a try. Finally, the hair color options, which are limited. I ordered the Cool Chai Blond, expecting a balance of blonds. This color is so cool it's almost white. In fact, the tips ARE white, which I guess is meant to look like highlights. I'll try to make this work because the the cap. I do wish I'd chosen a darker color, however. I waited months and months for the blondes to be restocked and finally I got it. I kept looking at the blondes and none of them seemed light enough. I watched several videos and saw that the Milkshake Blonde -R was the lightest, but it is not light enough for me. It looks nothing like the picture above. It is almost all ash colored. This wig is too high quality to not offer real blond colors. I love the style, but I am not sure I want to keep because of the color. If anyone can recommend a color in this style that is more blonde than this, please do so.
