I love carrie, have 3 different colors. Just brush the part and spritz with water in spray a bottle and she's beautiful. Pretty & flirty. It's the hair I always wanted! !
Nice but a LOT of hair.
Carrie is the first Noriko wig I've tried. Fit is good on my petite to petite/avg sized head. It was sliding back at the front, but then I gave it a serious haircut and that resolved the problem. Inside of the cap is comfortable, not scratchy. Copper glaze color is pretty but much more blonde than I thought it would be, esp. in indoor lighting. If I get another one, I will try the Irish Spice or Auburn Sugar instead. The fibers have a nice, silky feel and good body. The downside of this wig for me is that it has too much hair. Way too much. All that hair makes it heavy, as well as overwhelming in volume. I also found it too long for me -- personal preference -- esp in the back. So I cut about 3" off the back/sides. I trimmed the bangs a little and will probably trim them a bit more. I need to re-do some of the curls, because I cut so much off, but now the length suits me better.
Very pretty, just not on me
Looking around online at reviews on Carrie, I quickly fell in love with it.
I have it in Chai Cream which turned out to be a gorgeous color. My only complaint is that in this unrooted color the permatease goes *right* up front to the bangs where the hair parts.
While Chai Cream is a beautiful color, the absence of root and the permatease right at the part makes it look wiggy to my eye, the permatease in the very front is very noticeable.
I thinned it out a bit, making it less wiggy on my head, but the permatease is just making it look unrealistic, I can only get away with it when wearing a 40s style hat on the part.
The cap is constructed very solidly, but is way too small on my head, the ear tabs don't even reach far enough to cover the hairline on my sides. When reviewers say Noriko caps run small - they really do. Estetica fits my head a lot better. On me the cap runs so small that I cannot *play* with it at all, so pulling any hair behind the ear etc is not possible since I don't get enough coverage from the cap.
This cap feels even smaller than the Angelica.
Overall a pretty pretty wig if you can pull it off in a rooted color, the hair fiber is very pleasant to the touch, and Chai Cream a gorgeous color.
Unfortunately not for me, though. But if it suits you, it is a lovely wig.
Now that I have thinned it out, I am stuck with it, but I might try adding reddish brown roots to it and see if I can pull it off during special occasions.
Surprisingly Pretty, better than pictured!
I love this wig! I have passed this wig up for years, as the style just wasn't for me, looking at the photos. I prefer a mono top and lace front on a wig, also. But after reading all the great reviews and watching a few videos on youtube, featuring this wig, I decided to give it a try. This wig is gorgeous in the Nutmeg-R! The roots hide the permatease and aren't too dark, looks very natural! It has such gorgeous highlights! The base color is indeed the color of nutmeg, but it has tiny very blonde highlights and a darker nape. The colors looks like very expensive salon coloring! The hair is silky soft and doesn't tangle. I did cut in bangs, as I prefer bangs. The bangs also hide the hairline, as it's not a lace front. I took the photos outside in natural sunlight, so you can see the color. I also bought the Creamy Toffee Rooted, more blonde, also beautiful. These are now my go to, everyday wigs! I highly recommend this wig! I do recommend buying in a rooted color, as the darker roots do hide the prematease and look very natural! The price is great!
Love this one!
I think this wig suits me very well in Butter Pecan R! Look how different I look as a blonde than a redhead when wearing Baile in Apricot Frost! Look how we can change!
Always get compliments
I always get looks and compliments from both men and women when I wear this Carrie style in Spring Honey. I wish it was a monofilament though it would make it that much more perfect. Please ask Noriko to make it a mono.
My Best Yet
I've been shopping wigs for 24 years. I have never received a response like when I started wearing the Carrie. I wear butter pecan. It truly is one Hot wig.
In my opinion this is one of the prettiest if not the prettiest wig on the market. I have some in Chocolate Frost. It is drop-dead gorgeous. Love the thickness of it too. If it separates a little it is not so noticeable as it is on the thinner wigs. A TRUE WINNER!
Like it but...
I like the Noriko fiber feel and how soft it is. Also it does not seem to tangle that much; which is a real plus. I love the cut and the movement of the hair - my only complaint is how fuzzy and fried out it appears on the part line. I have other wigs that do not have a monofilament top but don't have that frizzy perma-tease to the part. Unfortunately it is very noticeable to me. I've tried to take a picture of it to show it - I most likely would not have ordered this wig if I knew it was like that.
one hot wig!
Carrie's style is one hot wig! It is a very sexy piece. My husband loves it! The dark chocolate color matches my hair perfectly. Usually i order Raquel Welch R4/6 which matches ok but the dark chocolate is matches fabulously!
Likes the thickness of it and the way the hair feels real
wish it was mono
The Carrie is a great style. It looks just like my hair!!!
I love the Carrie by Rene of Paris. I held it up to my human hair and couldn't tell a difference. The layering was beautiful and I couldn't say enough about it.
This is not a hand tied wig. The monofilament is natural
