I got the 4RN, close to my natural hair color, that I'm trying to grow back long again. In the description it doesn't mention the hand-tied mono top, but in the video it's mentioned and mine certainly is, which I'm happy about. Not to thick not to thin. Fits great. Feels silky. Natural looking part and front. I got some roll on adhesive thinking I would need it but found out it looks and fits just fine without, so I prefer not to use adhesive with the lace front no longer, I also apply a little foundation to my part to make it look more open sometimes and to match my forehead, also I where a nude light colored nylon wig cap under neath the wig. The hair is such a gorgeous color when the sun catches it. I've had it a week, so far no major tangling(it's says it's Remy) and has only shed about 4 strands so far also, so no big deal. My husband and mom says this is the most realistic wig they've seen me wear. Anyways I'm happy with this investment, and I'm hoping it will last for years to come.
A Nice Wig
The highlights are gorgeous, but 12FS8 is significantly darker with more dark brown lowlights blended in than JR shows in their photos. It almost looks platinum in photos of other styles in this shade, but there's definitely a lot of brown mixed in, so be prepared for that. Overall though, the highlights are blended and look pretty, even if it is a little darker. The hair itself is gorgeous, soft, smooth, and moves beautifully... It's a 50/50 Indian/Chinese blend as noted on the tag, which I do not mind. It's easy to style and the texture stays silky, which is a plus... You just have to treat the hair gently and keep it moisturized.
The cap is soft and comfortable and allows for minor adjustments, and the hair is a nice amount without looking 'wiggy'. The only thing I hate is that the mono top is ridiculously thin all over! I know some people like a wider part, but it's just too thin. It makes it difficult to style the top naturally and hide the knots in the mono, especially if you have a rooted/darker shade (luckily I dab some makeup along the part which helps camoflage the knots). I wish they would thicken up the mono part, especially for the price; those who prefer a thinner top can always cut or pluck some hairs out, but you can't really add to it, so I'd rather receive hair that's a bit too thick than too thin. I purchased this during a sale with a significant discount, so I'm not too upset about it, but I would've been if I'd paid full price for her. I'm also not crazy about the cut on this style, and wish they'd made this piece more like the HH Kate (the way it tapers in the back) but I might add some wefts to it to add a bit of length and make the cut not so blunt across the back.
For a human hair wig, it's very nice construction/quality though, and I do enjoy wearing the Sienna, even though I've had to customize her a little to suit my preferences. It's a very natural wig and a great 'every day' style, that can easily be dressed up or down to suit your mood. Overall I'm happy with her and glad I purchased, I would recommend this style as a 4/5.
Worth Every Penny
I was terrified at the thought of losing my hair to chemo after a surprise diagnosis in my 30s. Having long hair my entire life I was determined to find a wig that matched my hair as closely as possible. I got the dark-ombre which was nearly identical to my real color and took it to my stylist to cut. This wig was so spot-on it fooled my doctor. She stared at me in disbelief and even brought nurses in the room to look! I pretty much treat this wig as I do my own hair; curl hairspray wash and I can even put it in high and low ponytails and buns. My children do not know I am wearing a wig and that is invaluable to me!
