While I love the style of Alive and her silky fibers, I am having an awful time trying to make her look realistic. We all know the tricks from dry shampoo to plucking the part. I think my issue with this one is the permatease and the fact that she isn't heat friendly. I really dislike permatease because for me, the more flat a wig is on my head, the more realistic it looks. Jon Renau has some fantastic wigs that are like this and are heat friendly/no permatease. Being that Alive is not heat friendly means that I cannot flatten the permatease or flatten the crown. Her color, Chocolate Rooted, is beautiful. I do love the flipped ends. It's very playful. I am not in love with the bangs. In the stock picture it shows the bang laying nicely in a feathered side sweep. The bangs do not stay blended into the longer hair on the sides no matter how much I use got2b glued or Tress Tech wig wax spray. It would be nice to know the secrets of how the wigs are styled on the human models provided.

This is my second “Alive” wig and I like it more than the first. This wig looks so real and the rooted color is beautiful. There is just enough hair for a voluptuous look and the layers is very face flattering. My face is a bit long and the long layers helps balance my face. I am so pleased I may buy a third.
