First time trying a lace cap wig...looks so much better than the regular kind! It smells kind of funny, but hoping that will wear off. I also have to get used to the thicker hair (my natural hair is really thing & fine).

I received a lace front wig with the lace extending approximately 2 inches from the hairline of the wig. I contacted Wigs.com via email and received a response telling me to take wig to hair salon. Unfortunately I live in a small town no one was able to perform that service. I missed the cutoff for return so it now sits in the box. I feel if you sell a product it should be ready to wear.
WWigs.com9 years agoDorothy, we regret you are dissatisfied. This wig is not a ready to wear lace front. Many clients like the ability to cut the lace front themselves. The video clearly shows the extended lace front. Your frustration is understandable. However, you can have thus cut easily by a licensed hair stylist. Many of our clients do it themselves so I would suggest watching when your stylist does it;)
The wig is lovely and the lace front is customizable to suit. I hope you don't let your disappointment keep you from a great style.

I wasn't too sure about Hayden at first. After trying her on a couple of times and spending almost half an hour fussing and fixing her in front of the mirror each time I gave up. She was in her box for over a month. Until I thought of trimming the longer side bang. She's a symmetrical bob now which suits my face shape better. The lace front is hardly visible lays flat and snug on my hairline. The back can be improved though. Hair is not thick enough to give it some weight at the nape. It tends to stick up. I'll have to pat it down once in a while. Other than it looks like my real hair if I had it straightened. Love the subtle auburn highlights of FS1B/33 and of course the affordable price.
