Preston | Peluca sintética con Lace Front (Mono Top)

Preston was the final short wig that I tried after Joy and Mariska Petite. And here I finally learned that wigs that fall above my jawline are not the most flattering to me and that I needed an alternative to my plan for a very short summer wig. I do know now that having a lace front and monofilament top is the only way to go for me. The average cap fit okay after the tabs were tightened. The sides seemed clumpy to me. The color that I tried was CKISSRT4 which seemed flat and was too dark for my paler coloring. I returned it.

Ok so I searched and searched. I wanted a monofilament top, lace front synthetic that was not poker straight, and not past my shoulders. Preston seemed to be a good bet as I was ready for a more edgy style. As you can see by the photos, the front/bang area is smack dab in your face and looks very wiggy. I'm working with it to train the bangs to be less "forward" by spritzing it with water and using hair clips to pull it back until it dries. A tutorial I saw suggested doing a light tease from the roots and then style. This really works for the sides. I'm going to use Beautimark shaping cream to spike it and hold it where I want it. This wig begs for a spiky style. I wish it was more shake and go, but unless this is trained to behave, it's going to be a little more work, but very cute. There is one review that the lady has it styled off her face and very "trained." I wish she would add what technique she used since it looks like a totally different wig. If you aren't comfortable experimenting, or you want a plop and go wig, this isn't for you.
