Since 1968, Jon Renau has evolved into a leading global designer and manufacturer of wigs and hair toppers. What began as a small family business selling human hair wiglets quickly grew into a life-changing business, driven by a passion for empowering women. By the early 1970s, the demand for wigs had surged, prompting expansion. In 1982, Jon Renau moved from Cape Town, South Africa to the United States. They established themselves in Los Angeles in 1985 with just 12 styles.

Today, Jon Renau operates out of Carlsbad, California, continuing its legacy through a devoted team and the active involvement of John’s children in various sectors of the hair industry. By prioritizing customer feedback and education, the company has pioneered industry advancements, including lace front designs and heat-resistant fibers.
