Celeste | Peluca sintética con Lace Front (Mono Top)

I've had Celeste from Jon Renau for over a year now. I've worn it maybe 5 times, and I wear wigs everyday for work.

But even though it was only 5 times, the frizzing and tangling at the ends are worse than on the wigs I wear almost everyday, which is frustrating. Like I said in a previous review when I first bought this wig, the lace front and cap are just not as comfortable as Raquel Welch or Ellen Wille's wigs. The knots are very noticeable. The hair fiber is rougher, tangles more easily (same is true for a synthetic wig I own from Jon renau). I'm scratching my head more often, I can feel the wig all the time, and I'm forever trying to comb it so it's not a rats nest by the time I get home.

Looks OK, but so much trouble to maintain!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered the Celeste, but from the moment I put her on, I was completely smitten. The fit is comfortable right out of the box, the cap construction feels secure, and the style is effortlessly chic — the kind of wig that looks like you just stepped out of a salon. The color is stunning and incredibly true to the swatch. Whether I'm heading to a casual lunch or a dressed-up evening out, Celeste delivers every single time. If you're on the fence — just order her. You won't regret it!

I was drawn to the butterfly cut and curtain bangs, and Celeste did not disappoint. In Strawberry Syrup, the color is stunning — warm, rich, and dimensional. The feathery layers move beautifully and the lace front hairline is incredibly realistic. Long wigs can feel like a lot, but this one wears so naturally I keep forgetting it's on. Obsessed.

I wanted to love this wig! I even called in to speak with customer service, and they were so helpful! The color is Fudgsicle, 6, which is perfect for me. The length was great and the density was excellent. The problem is there is a band connecting the lace front to the Cap and it is very visible and shiny when you are close. I did not want to try putting dark makeup on it in case it didn’t work then I would not be able to return the piece. The representative told me this brand uses that band to make that connection from lace front to Cap so it will always be there. Sadly, I am going to have to return because I know I will be so self-conscious of that showing through. Possibly in lighter colors it might not be visible, but in dark brunettes, I’m afraid it will definitely show through.
