How Long do Heat Friendly Wigs Last?

Heat friendly wigs last around 3 months or more depending on how you care for them. The fiber is more prone to frizzing than regular synthetic fiber, but you can keep your heat friendly wig in great shape by following these tips:

Avoid over-styling and using too high of temperatures, which can damage the fiber. Keep your thermal styling tools between 275° F to 300° F. Watch our video here on how to style heat friendly fiber.
Detangle often using a wide tooth comb and detangling spray. Focus on the nape where wigs tend to tangle the most.
