Hair color gives the world insight into your personality. Making the right decision about color can be confusing, not to mention frustrating amidst a cluster of information that seems ever changing. In reality, the most flattering hair color for you is the one that accentuates your attributes to make you look natural.
- 1. Are your undertones warm or cool? Figuring this out will require objectivity since two people can have the same skin tone but different undertones. Consider a color wheel with six colors divided into two groups. On the left side are cool colors which are calm and soothing: green, blue, and violet. And on the right side are warm colors which are bright and vivid: yellow, orange and red. Does your skin give off a green, blue, and violet hue, or is it more yellow, orange and red?
Complexions with warm undertones will look best in a wig color with warm undertones like orangy reds, champagne, and golden blondes.
Complexions with cool undertones look best in wigs with cool undertones like pale blondes, ebony browns, and auburns.
