Details & Care
STEP 1: Determine Your Area of Hair Loss
STEP 2: Measure Width & Length
Use your measuring tape to measure the width and length of the area of hair loss. To avoid irritation and additional hair loss add ¾”-1” to each of the measurements. Doing so will allow your hair topper to clip into strong hair follicles, beyond the area of hair loss, to support the clips and weight of the hair topper.
For example, if your side to side (width) is 2” and your front to back (length) measurement is 4”, you will need a base size that measures at least 4.75” x 2.75”.
STEP 3: Area Of Hair Loss + Measurements = Coverage Needed
Now that you know your measurements and area of hair loss, you know the coverage needed, which means – you can start shopping!
STEP 4: Compare Your Measurements to The Product Specifications
Once you believe you have found the perfect Hair Topper, compare the product specifications to your measurements, keeping in mind that the topper must clip into strong hair follicles. Reminder, this is ¾”-1” beyond the area of hair loss.

Step 1: Close all the clips on your hair topper
Step 2: Detangle Gently detangle your hair topper by combing through it with a wide tooth comb.
Step 3: Rinse Once your hair topper is detangled, rinse it from root to ends with lukewarm water
Step 4: Shampoo Once your hair topper is fully rinsed, set your topper on your towel and emulsify your Beautimark Synthetic Shampoo in your hands. Then gently massage the shampoo into your topper in a downward motion, starting at the base down to the ends of the hair. Be sure to massage the base, with the shampoo, using circular motions.
Step 5: Rinse Rinse your hair topper from the base/root to the ends with lukewarm water until all shampoo is rinsed out. Squeeze the hair topper to remove any excess water once you are done rinsing it (do not ring the hair as it will cause the strands to tangle). Then lay your topper down on the towel and blot dry.
Step 6: Condition & Dry Place your hair topper on your wig stand and spray (staring a couple of inches away from the roots) Beautimark Leave In Conditioner (approximately 4-6 times depending on length). Comb through it (tips to root) one more time and allow to air dry on the wig stand. Always make sure the ends are hanging (not resting on a surface) to avoid cold setting.

I’ll start out with the good points. This top piece has a beautiful natural-looking scalp and nice color. But, why won’t the manufacturer listen to their customers? We keep saying that this top piece is too thick in front and it’s way too sparse and thin in back. There isn’t enough hair in back to make one bit of difference for a woman with hair loss. And the sad thing is, it would be so easily remedied with this one little switch-up. Please listen to us. Just put less hair in front and more hair in back.
This top piece has too much hair in the front and not enough hair in the back. It hangs in long separated strings in the back of the top piece. “Separating” is a major issue with it. And by that I mean that large bunches of hair stick together in the back, showing everyone that it’s obviously fake hair. I have to keep brushing it to make the hair blend together, I’m always so self-conscious because it reveals my thinning hair underneath the top piece. Real hair doesn’t separate in big bunches like that. To the manufacturers: putting more hair in the back of the top piece would remedy this embarrassing situation. Very cheaply made.
You could tell this was fake. I had to return it.
I have bought Amore wigs & been impressed with the hair fiber - silky & smooth. Everything about this topper is inferior- cheaper clips, cheaper mono top - not double mono - but the poor hair fiber is the worst thing about it - it's limp, rough,& it clumps. As far as coverage, good on top, front & sides, but not so good in the back. The price is decent, but it really doesn't deserve to be in the Amore line.
