The Academy Awards is known for being the time when celebrities show off some of their best look. With us being more interested in their hair more than their clothes, we wanted to dedicate this post to being all about the Best Academy Award Hairstyles that we’ve seen on the red carpet. So, get your popcorn and take a walk down memory lane with us during the #TBT of Best Academy Awards Hairstyles.
Lupita Nyong’s hair was definitely not your typical red carpet hairstyle. Featuring a tapered cut with texture in the front to show off the volumized top, Lupita Nyong’s hair definitely turned heads. Not to mention the fact that the golden headband that she added to accessorize the outfit was absolutely stunning!
Now, Emma Stone is already well known for her fiery red hair and long hair. Emma Stone and long hair just go well together. However, imagine the surprise when she approached the red carpet with a lob hairstyle that was accentuated with loose beach waves. It’s no wonder that we fell in love with this red headed beauty’s look—Just take a look for yourself! It screams girls next door and glamour all in one.
The star of How To Get Away With Murder has always been known for her almost too sexy outfits as a criminal justice lawyer, and many people have come to appreciate her different hairstyles. For the 2017 Academy Awards she dared to be different by shying away from her usual bob or natural looks and doing a “pixie-cut” with a bang. I don’t know how she pulls it off, but it seems like she can do just about any hairstyle.
I think it’s safe to say that Scarlett Johannsen is one of the most attractive women on the planet. We’ve been used to seeing her with red hair since she’s been frequenting her Black Widow character in avengers. Imagine our delight when we see her not only ditching the red hair, but also wearing a much shorter, cropped hairstyle with wispy blonde hair. We have to give it to her- she somehow managed to make a somewhat masculine hairstyle look extremely cute.
Which celebrity do you think had the best Academy Award style THIS year? Tell us about it in the comments!
