Happy month of Love!
Time to celebrate love and all those things we are thankful for. When listing those things to be thankful for which make our lives easier…I have to go with wigs at the top of my list! There is no other way to get perfect hair in a less than 5 minutes without the use of wigs or top pieces. They are super easy and provide a plethora of options so that I can get a look to match my mood (or my outfit) in just a few minutes. Our hair is such a small thing in the grand scheme of life…but for most of us women, it is such a huge factor in how we feel about the way we look when we go out to face the day. Take a moment to look up in to the nearest mirror. What did you glance at first or second while sweeping a reviewing eye over yourself? Your hair? Me too!
Loving your hair isn’t always an easy task. We always want what we don’t have. With wigs, I can always have what I want. Down to a color change from day to day. I can have the haircut I want, in the color I want, and it can change tomorrow… if I want! This is a fun and freeing feeling. Wigs don’t have to be a “have to” item in your daily routine…anything is so much more fun when it moves in to the “want to” category!
So love your do! Embrace and explore all the options at your fingertips. Here are some of our favorite Dos and Don'ts for your favorite 'Do! (say that three time really fast!):
• Do make sure your wig looks healthy and shiny… but not too shiny as it will look fake. Use dry shampoo spray to keep the shine in check!
• Don’t use a brush on your wig as it can lead to frizz. Use a wide tooth comb or even your fingers!
• Do choose colors that are more natural like rooted colors or those that have depth by using more than one solid color throughout. Exception: the vivid or pastel colors are making a huge splash on the fashion scene… in which case, the natural look is not the goal. Try one - they are gorgeous!
• Do take great care of your wig. Whether it is synthetic or human hair, you want to treat it with products that are made specifically for alternative hair!
So now you are ready to dive in to your season of love with a new 'do… or just recycle one of your previously loved styles and give it a new twist. Either way… Love your 'do!
