Wigs.com Debuts at New York Fashion Week

Wigs.com made its official debut at New York Fashion Week, where Wigs.com wigs were worn to bring designer Malan Breton’s runway vision to life. Styled by the legendary Vivienne Mackinder, the wigs took center stage as part of one of fashion’s most celebrated events.

Breton’s show unfolded in four acts, with Act III spotlighting alternative hair. Wigs.com wigs, including Harriet by Rene of Paris, Euro Chic by TressAllure, Angled Bob by TressAllure, and Smooth Cut Bob by TressAllure, were cut, dyed, and styled by Mackinder into sleek, asymmetrical blunt bobs. The bold silhouettes amplified Breton’s couture, proving that wigs are not just accessories, but essential fashion statements.

In an interview with Vivienne Mackinder, she shares her experience with the wigs, “I love the fact that you can steam them; you can put a curling iron to them... They can be so playful when changing the texture, so it’s been an amazing experience."

That’s the joy of alternative hair. Each wig is like a salon in a box. Once taken out, they are ready to take on any challenge whether it’s as simple as running errands across town to strutting down the runaway at New York Fashion Week.
