I’m Kristyna, a wife to the love of my life, Bruce, since 2016 and mama to 2 little kiddos, Jackson (6) and Blakely (4). I spend my days working as a Commercial Development Manager and my free time as a SEINT Makeup Artist and hype girl for my fellow hair loss sisters! Start off with a low/medium density wig in a style and color that closely resembles your bio hair at its best! When we are so accustomed to seeing ourselves with thinning hair, it can feel very foreign to see ourselves with a thick head of hair - so just remember, baby steps!

Not a tip as much as a friendly reminder - heat friendly synthetics NEED HEAT! With proper maintenance I have HF synthetics that are 1-2 years old and still going strong!

Don’t judge a style based on the stock photos, because they rarely do them justice! I love that wigs.com is starting to show these styles on real women who own them - it makes it so much easier to get a feel for the actual look of them

If you have a wig which has knots that are bothering you, fear not! Just grab a thin makeup brush and a tiny bit of your concealer and tap in the part line or underneath the knots until they are concealed and set with a little translucent powder

Two words - HOT COMB. It’s my absolute must-have tool for heat-friendly synthetic wig wearers. Comb fibers away from your face to get lift, comb the top down to lessen the volume/permatease, use it on the ends to smooth the fibers at the end of the day - it’s a powerhouse tool to have in your arsenal!

Don’t be afraid to customize a wig to make it your own! Tweak the style, add accessories, take it to have it cut by someone you trust - 99% of the time I can take a wig that doesn’t feel like me and turn it into one I absolutely love with some easy changes
