    This gal is a workhorse!

I have been wearing this wig on and off for several years, I should note I get mine from a salon and they order directly from Jon Renau. So, that being said, let me tell you why I love this wig so much.

When you first get it, first thing you're going to want to do is cut it. It's extremely thick and bushy and if you don't at least thin out the top, it WILL look fake. I wear color 8RN, and have them layer it out even more on top, and wear it with "curtain bangs" and the rest pretty much layered as is. I stick with a middle part, and normally wear it straight. However, it does look lovely with some waves put it, I've even wet it down and put rollers in it overnite and it comes out beautifully.

The best part of this wig, for me, is that it doesn't have a lace front. I cannot wear them, I have super sensitive skin and any kind of lace will irritate and break out my forehead. This severely limits my options. I did wear Leah one year, as I got her at a discount. But given the fact I can only AFFORD one wig a year - Isabella is the clear winner for me. I can buy her, make her last (I do recolor at about the six month mark, and trim split ends as necessary.) I wash her about every ten days and use dry shampoo in between.

This is so close to my natural color and style that nobody has a clue I'm wearing hair unless I tell them. There's really no downside to this piece, which is why I'm giving it five stars. You have to treat her with kid gloves, but you can wear her every day…

    Shifted

I really didn't like this wig out of the box. It felt really dense on top. It feels great to the touch. I cut bangs, but no matter what I have tried, it wants to part in the middle. I wear it anyway. It worked really great when I had to put it in a hair tie and pull it up under a helmet. Even with that done to it, I don't think anybody realized it was a wig. But, if I shake my head quickly from side to side, it shifts slightly. So don't do that if you wear this wig. HA

    update on review

I need to update and correct a bad review on this wig. The wig I purchased was not with wigs.com but rather a local salon. I went back to complain to the owner who showed me one she had just ordered and it was perfect. The new one had the side and back hair vented in with just a few hairs at a time and close together to look good if the wind blows. So the one I bought at the local salon was either an older version of the wig or a defect because the hair was clumpy plugs not single hairs.

With the hair sewn in correctly this is a very nice wig. I usually buy the first of a new style at a local salon because I feel obligated to since they showed it to me and then thereafter order on wigs.com.

I have decided to only deal with wigs.com as they take returns and have the latest wigs and styles. Sometimes it is nice to see it before you buy it but these local shops don't take returns so you are stuck as I am now. Lesson learned.

    its a no

hair on top is perfect density - not to much not too little. The problem is the hair on the sides and back is attached to the wig more like plugs than individual hairs - the plugs are clumps of hair - rather than just a few strands - and these plug clumps are placed too far apart so that with movement or wind blowing the netting and these plug clumps are exposed. Also the wig looks top heavy because while the amount of hair on the top is perfect the amount of hair on the sides and back is insufficient to the point that it makes the top too like too much hair - which it is not. They need to attach the hair to the sides and back a few hairs at a time and closer together so the hair in the wig looks evenly dense and you don't have to worry when you move your head or the wind blows.

    Perfect

I have had alopecia for 7 years lost all of my hair. I have tried dozens of wigs and Isabella has been the best fitting most comfortable durable high quality piece. It is worth every penny.
