Wigs.com is an amazing site! It took me quite a while to find the right colors from the different manufacturers that match mine, The bus returns were extremely easy and customer service very helpful ! Because I have baby fine hair some of the banks are simply too voluminous for me .

I would like to see companies make wigs for women with thinning hair that have less volume hair so it looks more realistic !

Lasting Impression resembles my own hair after straightening it using a medium heat flat iron. My ends would never stay "poker" or "soft-straight." This wig looks like it won't either. I considering keeping this wig, but all the permatease is what is stopping me. It is located throughout the piece. Since it is a light piece without a ton of hair that I'd have to thin out, I guess all the permatease pushes the light and fine hair away from the wefts so that the wefts are not seen. Steaming the inside of the cap might relax the permatease a little. Considering keeping this wig just to experiment. The color 10/12 is spot on with my natural hair color. I'm thinking that I can add subtle roots using color spray, hair powder and/or brown permanen marker. It works if you know what you are doing and how. Look at reputable tutorials online to learn and save money. I've also looked Gabor's: Soft & Subtle (good if you want above and off shoulder look), Radiant (beautiful, messy curls but I fear a leaf, a bee or getting stuck in it), Runaway Waves (too much "return" puts 4-5 inch pieces at the top when the piece calls for no layers shorter than 10 inches), and Stepping Out (I wish the bangs were swept and light). Can't wait to see Fashion Staple by Gabor next incase I want a longer look that I can custom trim. It looks like a longer version of Lasting Impression with flipped, frizzy (probably dry) ends... that can be softened using a steamer!

I ordered the buttered toast GL15-26SS and loved the color, and I even like they style (not much puff at the top)! However, the ear tabs come down way low and it's scratchy (and I've worn my fair share of wigs in other brands). I likely won't order Gabor again due to this...but do I hope I can find a like-color in another brand.
