The Mono Short by Jon Renau is a monofilament hairpiece constructed of synthetic fiber. The base of the hairpiece measures 6.5”x5.75” and the overall hair length is 9”–11”. I chose the color shown (24B22) and it is much darker than pictured.
It did not come with swooping bangs to the side but rather had front hair which came down to my chin. I had to take it to my stylist who trimmed the front into bangs. I was expecting a synthetic hair piece to be styled as shown but that was not the case. I do like the hair piece but the picture is deceiving.

This is a beautiful piece but I found that I needed to work on it a lot. I ended up having to take it to my stylist as I was having so much trouble with it. I washed the hairpiece and it stuck out all over so then I applied styling cream and hairspray. That only helped a bit. My stylist trimmed the ends into my hair. As I was walking along I noticed that the hairpiece was sticking up all over again. I cannot get this piece to behave. I'm not sure what else to put on as the hairspray works for a little while but then the fibers start poking back up.

This was my first hairpiece. No one knows it's not real! I love it. I had my stylist cut some bangs which made it look even better. It does not have any wave however. It's completely straight. I've had it 9 months and it is starting to frizz but I wear it every day.
