Distributing the weight by holding the wig from both sides seemed like a great idea; so I bought one of these hangers along with my first wig.

Unfortunately the only possible ways to hang my wig on the double sided hanger would be to sew loops into the cap or use clothes pins or safety pins.

I refuse to use any of those things just to attach my 100% fully hand-tied wig to this double sided hanger. In other words I will not damage my wig unnecessarily in order to use this hanger.

Even though I could hang the wig on the big hook if it is turned up I refuse to allow all of the hanging pressure to rest on one spot of the delicate wig cap. The whole idea of this device is to hang the wig upside down by attaching both sides of the wig to the double sided hanger.

This device is a great idea if your wig has some places in the cap whereby you could hang your wig perhaps near the area where you can adjust the fit or possibly somewhere near the ear flaps or maybe around the spaces if it is an open cap wig. You might even use the label. But none of these areas were of use in my wig without adding something else which likely would have introduced damage to the wig.

I have used Styrofoam heads and the other plastic wig stands and they don't even compare with this product.

It's great for short or long wigs and seems like my wigs even dry faster since there is nothing touching the wig cap while it's drying plus I'm not having to clean up all the water while its dripping dry. I also love the hanger for the door because not everyone that comes in my bedroom or bathroom sees my wig when I'm not wearing it. I Wish I had found it sooner.
