This elegant Top Full 18-inch topper by Jon Renau adds length and volume over the entire crown, creating the illusion of natural growth from the hand tied mono top. The 11-inch base clips in comfortably and securely. Top Full 18” is for the advanced stage of hair loss
I bought this piece in Palm Springs Blonde and it has TONS of hair, which looks ridiculous on me, plus it’s extremely shiny and tangles constantly- very annoying! I’m a little smaller than average, but not tiny, if that helps. I do like the color, but the roots are much to dark for me. Wish it came in an unrooted version for us natural cool-toned blondes! When it’s safe to go to a hairdresser, I’ll spring for having it thinned and trimmed to about 14” so it won’t tangle so much and will have more natural density. I’ve been experimenting with different types of root touch-up products, including white aerosol paint for hair (nope), blonde spray root cover (way too yellow), and Color Wow root cover in Platinum (best so far, but time-consuming). I used some spray dry shampoo for the shinyness, but it didn’t make much difference. I’ve read that washing it helps, but I don’t want to do that before it’s thinned and trimmed so there will be less tangly hair to deal with. Maybe some day it’ll be wearable, but it’s requiring so much work I just can’t recommend this piece, unless you’re ok with masses of shiny, tangly hair. Meanwhile, I have to search for something that’s way easier to make work for me.
This product was by far the best in regard to the double monofilament it has on top. It allows it to make it look more realistic on the scalp. My only problem was my lack of knowledge with taking care of the product by only applying synthetic fiber products on it. It was my first fake hair experience and sadly I ended up destroying the hair fibers. Just as suggested this product would not help to cover far back part of your head or side burns. But other than that people would compliment me often . I love this brand!!
I didn’t like the synthetic hair on the Top Full. Additionally the piece had too much hair for me. If I could afford to purchase the same topper with human hair the story might be different. I would be willing to pay more for premium synthetic hair and wish more wig companies would offer premium synthetic hair. It would be a balance between regular synthetic and human hair. Thus far I am not impressed with Jon Renau synthetic hair.
