If you want the style exactly as shown, then this would be the wig to get. I’ve been wearing “Voltage” for years but the last couple have been so short and thin I decided to try “Trend Setter” as it looks similar but longer. I’m trying to eliminate some of the flipped out look and it won’t restyle. In the past, I’ve been very successful at putting my own personal look to my wigs but with this one, it just won’t work. The hair is quite thin except at the base so hard to work with. I’ve been wearing “Voltage “ in the same color for years ( R9S+ Mahogany) so at least it’s true to description and as shown in picture. I have to keep this one as I did some cutting trying to restyle. Guess I’ll have to keep looking.

I initially bought Trend Setter because it reminded me of the way I wore my hair when I was younger. Raquel’s Voltage wig struck me the same way. I purchased both wig styles in R829S+ glazed hazelnut, as well as SS8/29 shaded hazelnut (my two favorite Raquel Welch colors). When my husband saw me in my new Trend Setter wig, he gave me a surprised, admiring look. He told me he loved my hair, and that I looked just like I did back when we were dating. :) I got a similar response when I wore the Voltage wig. Naturally, I happily came back to Wigs.com the next day and bought two more of each wig in the same two colors.

Just received your synthetic wig. Shook it out of the box and put it on my head. In love of course. Raquel Welch makes the best wigs if it's my head perfectly I love the memory cap. SS iced latte macchiato

This wig is nothing like the picture. There is no way it could even be styled in the fashion that is shown in the picture with Raquel Welch. I had this wig some years ago and it was like the picture. It styled easily in the casual way that the picture shows. The wig I got is a much smoother cut and not as casual as I would have liked. I would much prefer to have the wig that is shown than the one I received.

Trendsetter is a great pixie and for those with longer nape hair, the nape is covered. I get lots of compliments on this wig. I have it in the color R8/29SS Shaded Hazelnut. Awesome color!
Just terrific for a new wig wearer. Note that I like the permatease height. However, I don't use product to make it as wild as the stock photo but it would be fun to try.
Like other Raquel Welch basic cap wigs, it does run slightly large (I believe - certainly bigger than a Noriko wig which I also bought and which runs too tight on me). I wear an integrated wig cap/wig grip under it and have no problems keeping the wig on and secure.
