Award by Ellen Wille is a very chic, short human hair wig. Precision cutting is the key to beautiful shape. The layers around the face can be worn in multiple ways including parsed and to the side or pushed forward. The layers at the nape of the neck lay flat.

Together the 100% hand-tied cap, lace front and monofilament top give this wig a very natural look. It is ideal for a petite to average head size.     Ellen Wille Wigs

    This review is about Ellen Wille Wigs and NOT Wigs.com. I will NEVER purchase another Ellen Wille wig. I have tried now both synthetic & human hair. I should have paid attention to the human hair review for this wig as there are places that the hair sticks out unnaturally straight like a stick from the head and it’s because of the silicone strips in the cap. Plus the hair on the neck doesn’t lay naturally after a few hours wear so it’s obvious I’m wearing a wig the way it sticks out away from my neck. Her synthetic wigs are nice for about a month and then the synthetic feels & looks like straw unlike any other brand synthetic wigs I have that stay feeling soft. I DO USE wig shampoo & know how to care for wigs so that is NOT the issue, it’s the inferior material used. The ONLY reason I kept trying Ellen Wille was due to the petite size caps that most other vendors like Rachael Welch don’t offer but tired of wasting my money ($500+ for synthetic & $900+ for human hair).

    I have to agree with other reviews. The cap is well made. It is comfortable. However, there are chunks of hair around the face that will not move. They hang very much forward and not straight down as normal hair. My stylist looked at the wig, but stated he could not correct that problem with styling. For the high price of almost $1,000, I expected an expertly made wig.

    I’m returning for an exchange hoping the problem is only on the wig I received.

    I love Ellen Wille wigs and have been wearing the synthetics for years. Great for petite heads that need short cuts.

    I’m disappointed in this Ellen Wille product. The company needs to address this issue and fix the style.

    The positives are: This is perhaps the highest quality cap I've ever seen. The inside of the wig is like a custom fit, not stretchy. Very well made. It was made to stay in place and has little silicone type lines to keep it in place. Unfortunately for me, it was too small. I only wear Ellen Wille wigs, mostly the hybrid hair and they have a bit more give and stretch than this E.W. HH wig. My head size is larger so I had to return this one.

    Keep looking..this isn't the "perfect" wig you are spending top $$ for!

    This wig is pretty good..the hair quality is very good and the temple to temple hairline is very nice but for the money it's not good enough! The cap has design flaws..the ear flaps are not snug plus the hair around the ears wants to puff out away from the head making it very difficult to achieve a realistic look. The nape is over texturized and looks mechanical more like what you sometimes see in synthetic wigs. Will not purchase again in spite of the fact the wig has some extremely nice features. Like many other wigs it will look best under a hat..which isn't what I was hoping for.
