Carrie | Human Hair Lace Front Wig (Mono Top)

I really wanted to like Carrie. The length is perfect and it is more affordable among human hair wigs. I have been wearing it for the past 2.5 months. Unfortunately, it gets tangled incredibly quickly and I’m often frustrated while trying to detangle knots. It is almost as bad as heat defiant fibers. I know it’s not something I’m doing because my Angie never tangles and it is longer than Carrie. There is also way too much hair around the face compared to the rest of the wig. I know manufacturers do this to hide the different parts of the cap, but it makes it obvious that you are wearing a wig. I usually wear Jon Renau wigs and I absolutely adore Angie, which makes Carrie even more of a let down. I don’t know if these issues are because Carrie isn’t Remy human hair or if it is because it is wefted. Whatever the case, I know I won’t be buying another Carrie.

If you’re ready to make the leap to human hair wigs, but you’re not sure about spending major dollars, the original Carrie wig is a good place to start. It’s got a good lace front, a nice low density feel, and a mono-top that gives you lots of flexibility with parting for a great price point (particularly if you can grab it on sale). I’ve spent nearly three times more on other human hair wigs, but this is definitely the best fitting cap, most dimensional color, and best overall look of them all. I haven’t washed it yet, but I’m confident it will hold up based on other reviews I’ve seen. the cut isn’t terrific, but this is a good one to have customized a bit to the length you like.
