    BEAUTIFUL COLOUR, DISAPPOINTING QUALITY - DIDN'T LAST

    I had high hopes for this wig — it was going to be my signature hairstyle for 2026. When it arrived a couple of weeks before January 1, I was genuinely elated. However, upon removing it from the packaging, I immediately noticed the construction felt cheap, which was shocking given the glowing reviews online.

    The Good:

    The style is adorable

    The color is truly breathtaking — no complaints there

    The Not-So-Good:

    The lace front is thick and scratchy

    The hair wefts are thin

    The fibers felt like dry doll hair right out of the box

    Despite gentle care and conditioning, the quality deteriorated rapidly (fuzzy split ends)

    The Bottom Line: I am a retired hair professional with a specialty in prosthetics (worked in LA), so I know how to evaluate and care for hair pieces. I should have returned this immediately, but I thought with proper maintenance it would last for at least six months. Sadly, it didn't even make it to the end of April before looking and feeling like straw.

    I seriously doubt I will ever purchase another René of Paris wig. I'm genuinely disappointed because the color is stunning — but beautiful color alone doesn't make up for poor fiber quality and construction that can't withstand normal wear (3x/week).

    Would I recommend? Not at this price point.

    Cute

    I ordered the Spring Honey color for the first time and love it. The color to me looks like a warm light brown, but not red. I'm happy to find a color in this brand that I like! .The style is cute & cannot wait to wear NYX . The wig came in excellent condition & quickly. Thank you!😁
