Thrill Seeker | Synthetic Lace Front Wig (Mono Part)

I have a love/hate relationship with this wig. I have been wearing wigs for 10 years daily for my alopecia areata and have ordered so many units from wigs.com over the years. I consider myself somewhat of a wig expert. This wig does give you absoluetly perfect hair, for maybe a handful of special occasions wear only. My first red flag was when I pulled it out of the box and there was a huge "Warning! Do not comb this wig!" tag attached to it. Ive never seen that on a wig before. Its a super long heat friendly synthetic wig... How can you possibly not comb it? It states you should only finger comb it and then only very carefully comb it with a wide tooth while its damp after you wash it to preserve the curl pattern. Yeah right! This wig looks SO stunning on right out of the box and I have gotten SO many complements on it. People stopped me everywhere I went to tell me how gorgeous my hair is. I felt beautiful. I've only worn it 3 times and yes, I absoluetly have had to comb it with a wide tooth comb. It gets far to tangled too fast not to comb at all and finger combing was totally not cutting it. But even the super gentle combing I did, made the ends fray super bad to the point I have already had to trim some ends off as they were fraying and crimping so badly. I love the confidence this wig gave me, for maybe a few wears... This is not an everyday style whatsoever. It may possibly last a month of occasional use if I continue to very carefully comb and trim off the ends... I…

I wanted this wig to work because I am obsessed with how it looks on @jenna_fail. Unfortunately, the fibers were reminiscent of a low qaulity Halloween wig from my past. My husband's first reaction upon seeing it was that it "looked like a bad Halloween wig". My bio hair is almost black so it definitely wasn't the color throwing me off.
